Who is Synergy Marine Inc.?
Synergy Marine Inc. is a privately owned business based in Montreal Canada which started operations in 2006. We are firstly boaters and as all boaters, we are always looking for something new and practical for our boat. The Shock Absorbing Dock Line was just one of those "discoveries" while attending a boat show in Asia. Our personal boat was docked in a marina that suffered from a lack of protection from waves and wind. The unique dock line looked like the perfect solution for protecting our investment while tied to the dock.
After a summer of tests and trials with our own boat in upstate New York, coupled with bench testing at South West Ocean Services - Test Division in Houston TX an industry recognized testing facility, we decided to import the product for the North American marketplace. Synergy Marine was born!
In the winter of 2007 we introduced our dock lines at the Toronto and Montreal Boat Shows with terrific results. We have since added our dinghy painter kit which is manufactured in a "Y" with one end being stainless steel carabineers to be attached to the "D" rings on each side of the inflatable dinghies - this is the recommended way to tow these inflatables as per the manufacturer.
In the winter of 2008 we were once again at the Toronto and Montreal Boat Shows to rave reviews from customers who had purchased the dock lines the previous season. We were also at the Vancouver Boat Show and the Halifax Boat Show to introduce our products there.
In the coming months we will be introducing our products to the US marketplace by participating at an Marine After Market Accessories Show (MAATS) in Las Vegas, the Newport RI Boat Show, Annapolis Boat Show and the Miami Boat Show in 2009.
We have also come up with other unique ways of using these dock lines, not only as dock lines but as mooring lines and snubbers for your anchor chain when anchored to alleviate the strain on the windlass as well as eliminating the noise that the anchor chain makes when being dragged along the bottom.
